Viewing a number of WAD downloads?

I was just wondering if there is a way to take a look at how many people have downloaded a certain map. Like is there a place were you can look and it will say something like, "This WAD has been downloaded ___ times."

This information is not tracked on the idgames archive.

With several mirrors to choose from, probably the most reliable way to tally downloads would be for everyone to use an "official" /idgames web portal, which would in due course be purchased by Google or Yahoo if they thought there was money to be made from the database.

It could be added to the web frontend but I see no reason to. It would not track people who downloaded directly from the servers, though.
