Wolfenstein 3D pistol on atari Jaguar

Now it just looks like some weird hybrid between the two guns, they were probably best at keeping it looking like a Beretta, they did exist around then too although not exactly the same model of course. :P

Except that Germans weren't given Berettas, because Berettas are Italian. Change the setting of the game to Italy? Nah. Castle Carbonara doesn't really sound intimidating or interesting at all. It sounds like a convention centre for chefs.

But you do start off with the gun and the one used by the German sprites are still the luger.

Yeah that's right you start off in a prison, but I don't see how B.J. was able to hide a knife also, you'd think the Germans would've done a thorough search.

You also start off in prison. Were you hiding the Beretta in your ass, or did id just just not care?

You start with a dead body of a guard in front of you. Fill in the blanks.

Would be more like Castle Pietralupi or something. (I don't speak Italian.)

Exactly. It's supposed to be a guard's gun, that was my point. The guards still carry Lugers, so the id guys probably just felt like reusing some Doom sprites.
