A newbie question.

I,m not THAT newbie.

It should be impervious to shooting and opaque from the other side as well. Just as though it was an ordinary section of wall.

Okay...

Create a normal sector for the wall. Set the sector's floor height to that of the ceiling (you may have to set it one unit lower or you'll get HOM). Make all the outer sides of the sector's lines refer back the sector itself instead of the surrounding sector. That should do it.

Take a look at this, tho I'm not sure if I understood your plans correct. This map also has a battle and an exit so have fun. :P

That's not neccessary, only do that if the player will view this blocking sector from above it's floor level.
