Using songs from movies

I'm creating an animation on YouTube based on a musical scene from "The Lion King" movie. Sadly, the animation can't go without the music. Will my head be cut if I use the song and give credit only?

Your video's audio will probably be muted because of Content ID. At the very worst the video will be removed completely.

Or maybe nothing will happen at all. It's hard to predict how their detection system will work.

Probably won't. YouTube is filled with videos using the same song I'm aiming for (one of them got 3 million views).

Try inverting the waveform, and very subtly pitch shifting and time stretching it. Should give you a better chance of being overlooked by Google's robotic Eye of Sauron.

Use public domain music and you wont have any problems.

Just find something and play it backwards. No one will ever figure it out.
