Quake 2

Alright, this isn't Doom, but this has been bothering me. How do I play Quake 2 single player levels (Ones people have made and uploaded)? Do I need some kind of source port? Also, where can I FIND Quake 2 levels, I'm coming up with nothing.

Why don't you ask this on a Quake forum? Like on Planetquake.

Alright, I'm sorry I know that the question has nothing to do with Doom, but I'm assuming SOMEONE has an answer.

Quake-o-matic front end, lets you add maps etc

Woo hoo, thanks for the link DOOMBOY I got it to work using the console. I tried using that front end but I'm not sure how to get the maps to show up.

That wasn't being mean - I asked a question nice and easily, if I'd been mean it'd have been something like this: "J00 st00pid n00b! Take your worthless non-Doom related posts about Quake games and shove 'em, THIS IS A DOOM FORUM you prat - get your ass over to Planetquake and ask your silly questions there!!!"

See? Now THAT was being mean (the above example should not be taken serious - I do not think that Doom II guy is a "st00pid n00b" or any of that shit, ok?).

It is quite clear that people interpreted my above comment as "hostile" - that was not the intention, just an innocent question.

If I'm not greatly mistaken, you bring down the console and type:
map <name of map goes here>
Then hit Enter.
I could be wrong; I haven't played any downloadable Q2 levels.
