Deathmatch 2014

So i was thinking Lets make a DM wad that's compatible with the 3 major source ports, odamex, zDaemon and Zandronum

16 maps - zdoom in Doom in Doom Format
Any one interested in Making this with me?

I'll refrain from using the [/newproject] tag, but I'd recommend you post a wad or some screenshots demonstrating your mapping prowess first.

Sadly, I don't think Zdaemon is UDMF compatible. You'll probably want zdoom: doom in doom, or zdoom: doom in hexen format for full cross-compatibility.

Good luck with this, hopefully I'll have enough time to toss a map in :)

Doom 2, No map has been taken yet so you can have the pleasure to have the first map

I have my first map ready!
It could use some tweaking and I am thinking of adding more rooms,
it would be great if we could find some people to test the map
to see what need to be changed or added.

Dethret, you have a great map foundation there, i would just reccomend widening some of the small hallways. If you did that I think the fun factore would increase immensely, but overall, nice work so far :)

I thougth of doing that too, but some "secret" hallways
I intend to keep small, but may widen them slightly for mor ease
of movement. Thanks for the feedback!

- Made some passages wider
- Added easier access to 2nd plasma gun
- Added more pickups and health
- General tweaking

I recommend Nihil era, other wads of mine that got some attention were Failed and Formula of Destruction... You can use a few if you'd like, I think I have around 85, my new wads will put me at 94, I will release them tomorrow if you'd like to check then out

I have made a new map called: "Battle Rigg"

A small but fun map, it uses teleporters to navigate the map
and the smaller space makes this map best suited for
4-8 players.

Try it and tell me what you like.
