ZDoom / Doom Legacy differences

Do ZDoom wads run in Legacy and vice versa or are they different formats? I'm asking because I just got Doom Legacy and it doesn't seem much different from ZDoom at all, except for split screen mode and the ability to connect to internet servers from inside the game.

You're right, Legacy's not much different from ZDoom. And no, you can't run Legacy wads in ZDoom because of the format, and the same goes the other way around.

Legacy and ZDoom are so different. In some areas anyways.

Yeah, they have a lot of differences as well as a lot of similarities.

ZDOOM is software only, Legacy is software or OpenGL

ZDOOM has slopes, legacy doesn't.

Legacy has 3D floors, ZDOOM doesn't.

I see, cool. I haven't noticed anything like that yet cos I only just got Doom Legacy.
