Quasar Posted October 28, 2014 We're considering changing themes for the default Monaco skin to make it look something like the below picture. Feedback please. 0 Share this post Link to post
Velvetic Posted October 28, 2014 For me it looks better blue 'cause its the same color scheme of Doomworld, so it makes sense to change it. Also, it looks awesome. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted October 28, 2014 It's still Monaco so I still hate it unconditionally, but I hate it less than the current Monaco skin. :p 0 Share this post Link to post
MFG38 Posted October 28, 2014 A skin change like this gets a definite upvote from me. 0 Share this post Link to post
Avoozl Posted October 28, 2014 As the title for Map 32 of Plutonia 2 says, Go 4 It. 0 Share this post Link to post
Blastfrog Posted October 28, 2014 I like it. It'd be nice if you ditched Monaco, but I like these new page assets regardless. 0 Share this post Link to post
Demon of the Well Posted October 28, 2014 I think it's an improvement, the color scheme is easier on the eyes. 0 Share this post Link to post

Memfis Posted October 28, 2014 I like it, never was a fan of the current one. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hoodie Posted October 28, 2014 I think the current one is weird and it makes me go to the old Doom Wiki. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dragonsbrethren Posted October 28, 2014 Think I actually prefer the current skin a tiny bit more. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mechadon Posted October 28, 2014 I like this new one better as well. It seems to be easier on the eyes, at least for me. 0 Share this post Link to post
Blue Shadow Posted October 28, 2014 Hey, it's blue themed, so it gets my vote. 0 Share this post Link to post
Zed Posted October 28, 2014 I like it a lot. I can't wait to see the change. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tristan Posted October 28, 2014 It's actually already done. For consistency, I've changed the red and brown headers on the main page . Not sure if maybe Template:HeadingA is a shade too bright. 0 Share this post Link to post
Jaxxoon R Posted October 28, 2014 Quite nice. Not only is the blue soothing and much easier on the eyes, but it creates a nice contrast with Hissy and the logo, making them pop out a bit more. This also means that my WOOO playthrough does preserve DoomWiki in some fashion, if only just an early design [drooling smiley]. 0 Share this post Link to post
Memfis Posted October 29, 2014 Hmmm, actually the blue color theme looks a bit... I dunno, makes me think like I'm on a medicine website or something? The red color was more Doom-like. 0 Share this post Link to post
Snakes Posted October 29, 2014 My opinion is this is actually shameless ad for EE and I fully support it :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted October 29, 2014 Yes, the blue works better than the Monaco orange/tan. 0 Share this post Link to post
ducon Posted October 29, 2014 I’d like a dark theme, something like Doomworld. 0 Share this post Link to post
exl Posted October 29, 2014 It still looks a lot like the old theme, but the change in color does help. Although the heading background colors ("About DoomWiki.org") don't match the rest of the theme. They should be a shade of blue instead of the purple\lilac they are now. 0 Share this post Link to post

Linguica Posted October 29, 2014 It would be weird to have a wiki with light text on a dark background. It wouldn't seem right. 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted October 29, 2014 The Odawiki used to have a skin matching the main Odasite, at some point though it was lost and now it looks like a fresh MediaWiki install. 0 Share this post Link to post
