My Spider

Found an aluminum thing. Not exactly what I wanted but will do:



cut and glue wire for posing:






I made a brain shape out of crumpled shredded paper, water and glue. It is still wet:

Didn't that user that made them get loser'd eventually? Kind of sad really, I doubt he meant any harm by it.

I didn't glue those spider mastermind pieces together, used tape just to take picture of it what it would look like if it was glued together. It even has tiny metal teeth and wires included

That is very cool. I never built any resin model.

gluing this took much more time than expected, but I like the results:


I made a foot with real rubber from a bicycle tire tube. But I dont know yet the angle the legs will touch the floor, so I wont make the other three until later.


And finally the chassis: I didnt find any material better than wood (it will have to be covered with aluminum):

Looks to be coming along quite nicely. So far so good.

for the next step I had to drink a beer:

Now the gatling gun:


It's just a pen part and cut q-tips, painted silver.
Took me 2 minutes, tops. I'm happy with this part.

I drew a face in a piece of paper and glued there for reference. The eyes are map pins.

I will work some more on the face, I am not exactly content with how it looks now:

The silly arm pose makes me think of Krang.

You'd think there'd be at least one mod that turns the Mastermind pink and replaces his roars with TMNT sound clips, but maybe I just haven't bothered to look.

Looking good, what material did you use for gray brain matter? That armpose and face makes me think of: Hey bartender one more beerr... purp... bartender:" go home spider, you are drunk"

I suck at painting, but I had to start.


The chassis is finished, minus the rubber feet. I put him there to dry:

I believe it's known as cold porcelain or polymer clay. It's cheap.

Very cool work. With the paint, that fleshy brain matter looks a bit like ground beef, in the best possible sense. =D

That turned out really well for a simple DIY home project. Nicely done!
