Koko Ricky Posted January 13, 2015 http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13020298 So, I already posted this in the "Creative Works" sub-forum, but it has very little traffic and I figured that it deserved more exposure to the general DW audience. Everything except for the drums is sampled from Doom 64 and PSX Doom/Final Doom. I even managed to create a thumping bassline. It's something of an industrial dance track and I hope you enjoy it. 0 Share this post Link to post
MFG38 Posted January 13, 2015 I'll be entirely honest with you, while the track sounded cool, I wouldn't really recognize as a Doom tribute track aside from the sampled sound effects. Out of curiosity, though, which program did you use to create it? 0 Share this post Link to post
Koko Ricky Posted January 13, 2015 That's fine, I don't expect anyone to immediately associate it with Doom, as it is not a cover of any of Bobby's songs, nor is it even in the style of classic Doom's music. It's more like Club Doom 2.0. I used FL Studio to put the entire thing together. I literally just extracted audio from YouTube videos of Aubrey's tracks, then cut them up into the segments I felt were the most appropriate for sequencing. 0 Share this post Link to post
Doomkid Posted January 13, 2015 Cool use of samples man, I dig it. A lot of my stuff is done in FL studio. 0 Share this post Link to post
