Scripted marines help

hello again guys i need help again, i want to make a scripted marine to go throughout the level and fight monsters along the way and get to the exit, so i need help doing this can you guys give me some commands i can use or tell me what i should do? btw if you didnt understand me ill try to explain it to you in more detail

Use a system of Patrol Points and then a function Thing_SetGoal to set a FRIENDLY marine on the path.
