Knee Deep In ZDoom problems

I just downloaded the Knee Deep In ZDoom wad (kdizd_12.wad), and I am trying to play it with Brutal Doom v19 Sperglord Edition.

It starts off fine...then I try to fire my pistal that it starts me with (no sign of the BD Assault Rifle at startup, I get a polished pistol). When I fire, I see the original doom pistol's firing animation, then when the animation cycles through, it goes back to the newer looking pistol.

I have no idea why it's doing this. Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

KDiZD is doing its own weapon modifications so playing it with something like Brutal Doom is bound to cause issues.

Yup there is conflicting decorate- that is why there are often "patches" made to fix mod conflicts. Might be worth doing a lil' googling to see if anybody has made one.
