Plasma Sprite

I polished up the sprite.
I may get around to attempting a recoil/cooling/whatever frame for it later.

that looks really nice! and it takes up less screen space too!

So much really good stuff lately.

I'm wondering if the right thingy couldn't be removed entirely. It's... unbalanced. A smaller control panel somewhere in the middle ought to suffice to add visual interest.

that extra control block (probably containing an imaginary computer) gives it its end 80's and early 90's feeling. So its double edged ; or you want a oldschool look and feeling, or you want a modern balanced symetrical look.
