musa Posted June 13, 2015 A lot of people having complaining about problems running Doom95. Some especially complained about the horrible colours. Here's a way you can make Doom95 playable again. 1. Right-click on Doom95.exe 2. Go to compatibility 3. Set run in compatibility for Windows NT 4.0 4. Set Disable visual themes, and desktop compositing. 5. Now run Doom95! With these modifications, I could run Doom95 the same way as I did with XP. 0 Share this post Link to post
Reisal Posted June 13, 2015 The question is, why would you use such a horrible source port such as Doom95? 0 Share this post Link to post

Torturephile Posted June 14, 2015 I would rather run the game under DOSBox. 0 Share this post Link to post

So if you're new to Doom, that's the port you'll try to use before going in search of something better. 0 Share this post Link to post
