Texture translation in UDMF?

Is there some way to translate the color pallete in sidedef textures using UDMF? If yes, how, and else, could it be ever implemented?
PS: And floors that kill when touched? In Devile II map 01 I use linedefs and in map 04 a annoying damage pit.
