Arioch Posted July 10, 2001 Tech columns ... ZDoomGL style, from a wad-in-progress by Kurt Kesler. Remember, send in those Doom pics! (img) 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest DarkWolf Posted July 10, 2001 The blue lighting and the particles are a nice touch. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted July 10, 2001 I wish instead of ZDoomGL, there was GL in ZDoom, or 3dfx. 0 Share this post Link to post

Dan Posted July 10, 2001 Ooh... Blue. This can only mean one thing: after years of refined Doom levels, many a far cry from "a box with monsters," we will see an influx of over coloured monstrosities! I can't wait until we start seeing full blue lights clashing with full green lights in a hallway that leads to a full red room! Technicolour! ;) -Dan 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest LostShrapnel Posted July 10, 2001 All of it being irrelevant to those of us still stuck in software mode hell.. :) I'm not complainin' though, I'm too cheap and don't care enough to update my computer, hahah. As long as plain ol' doom and the basic source ports runs on it, I'll be fine.. I'm only sad that there'll be a kurt kesler level that I won't be able to play... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest voh Posted July 10, 2001 doom goes to a spectrum leisure vision the pic fucks our heads 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest DarkWolf Posted July 10, 2001 Only recently I've been able to experience Doom in GL. It looks great with dynamic lighting, but it's a bonus, Doom is still great in software mode. 0 Share this post Link to post
TheProphet Posted July 10, 2001 Vavoom 1.8 has this kind of lighting in software mode, btw 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Transon Posted July 10, 2001 i don't like the q2 style... men, we are loosing the spirit of the original doom! 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Zeurkous Posted July 10, 2001 I definitly agree with Transon. I love the old Doom style, spirit, and experience. De Zeurkous ----------- Friggin' Machines! 0 Share this post Link to post

Happy Fun Ball Posted July 10, 2001 How long will it be before someone makes a map of a disco floor with blinking colored lights and a bunch of John Travoltas attacking you. 0 Share this post Link to post
