Guest Nails Posted June 20, 2000 I've been working on a series of maps that all play a bit like the the Resident Evil games...you know, inside a house or building, finding keys, solving puzzles, using computers to unlock doors...etc...does anyone else find slow paced levels like that appealing, or just me? 0 Share this post Link to post
bitstate Posted June 21, 2000 If the action parts contain lots of monsters and such, I find levels like that very fun :o) 0 Share this post Link to post

Tawney Posted June 23, 2000 I recently played Resident Evil 3 and I found that game to be quite entertaining. While there wasn't enough flexibility as far as controlling your player, the cinematics ere incredible. The only thing I didn't like was when you beat the clock tower, the nemesis blows up the helicopter rescuing you ith one shot, yet it takes a couple rocket shots to kill you, I always wondered what was up with that. Resident Evil is one of those few games that keep you on your toes a lot. Playing a game similar to that in FPS is an excellent idea. I might do something similar for a TC using ZDoom once I get Resurrection done. I really *should* update that page shouldn't I:/ 0 Share this post Link to post
