For all Hexen coders...

Recommended Posts

If someone of you have the time, can make a patch that increse the HP of Zedek, Menelkir, Traductus, Heresiarchs and Korax?
And if it is posible, the posibility to includes Maulotaurs as enemies.

I'm sure it is quite easy for you, but for my is totally imposible, damn.

I know about the Korax mod, but I don't like all of its features...

I hope someone can help me, or at least that nobody blame me...

I downloaded that program, but I can't make it work, can you tell me what is wrong?.

I installed in the directory d:\hex
I pasted both, Hexen.exe and hexen.wad to that folder.
My Hexen version is 1.1
I'm using Windows 98

The ini configuration is this:
----------------------------------------

;HEX configuration file generated by install
;for help, see inifile.txt

;uncomment next line for faster startup
hexenver=1
titlepic=0
oldexe= d:\hex\hexen.exe
wadfile= d:\hex\hexen.wad
hackexe= d:\hex\hexen\hh.exe
tnfile= d:\hex\things.dat
sndfile= d:\hex\sndinfo.dat
q_file= d:\hex\quotes.txt
s_saver= random
ssr_act= true
ssr_time=30
comcom= d:\command.com
cmdline=
--------------------------------
I tried using the original Hexen folder but it is the same.
Each time I run the program, the same error ocurs. "runtime error 200: at 1199:0091".

This is driving me crazy :-)

You'll probably have to change some of the settings in that ini file, namely, all the directory locations. The odd thing is that I tried running that install program, and that won't even work. It's strange, since I used to use this program before I bought a compiler.

I only runed that install program once. Now I can't make it work, even if I install it in another directory and with other name, heh.. yeah, I suppose it is not that strange if the main program doesn't work..

Thanks for your time anyway..

The only way that I actually know to make the Maulotaurs as enemies is summoning them, and then type "deliverance deliverance" but that is not what I'm looking for...
