Guest Nuno Correia Posted November 2, 2000 These quotes speak for themselves. "Laura and I really don't realize how bright our children is sometimes until we get an objective analysis." - G.W. Bush - Meet the Press, April 15, 2000 "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?" - G.W. Bush - Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000 "Will the highways on the Internet become more few?" - G.W. Bush - Concord, N.H., Jan. 29, 2000 I'm sorry if you are for Mr. Bush, but is a fact that he sound damb (mistakes intended :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted November 2, 2000 So the guy stumbled on words 3 times? I do that too, that doesn't make me dumb; just a little absent-minded. And if I was in front of more than 20 people I didn't know trying to deal with something that meant so much I would really be out of it. And I'm not for either of them. Too bad Jello Biafra didn't get a chance. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Lurmy Posted November 3, 2000 YES DUBYA IS A JACKHOLE. I don't want a guy who was a failure until he was 40 running the country. 0 Share this post Link to post

Anyone see the video footage of him wiping his glasses on a lady's sweater during a commerical break on the late show? 0 Share this post Link to post
stphrz Posted November 3, 2000 All three presidential candidates this election are losers in my opinion. Nader's a liberal pinko supported by hippies. Bush has an intelligence problem(lack of), and Gore is a legend in his own mind :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted November 4, 2000 I think Nader was decent. I never actually listened to much of what he said because he was boring, but that guy who opened for him, Michael Moore, was convincing enough. You figure that nothing they say is really gonna happen after it has to get passed by however many branches, so, it doesn't really make a difference who you vote for since not much is going to change anyways. Plus, I'm voting for Nader just to make sure Gore or Bush don't get an extra vote they don't deserve. 0 Share this post Link to post

This is provided I manage to find a place advertising voting booths before the election ends. I really have no idea where to go looking for one of these. 0 Share this post Link to post

Nader is IMO the best choice for president, and I like the fact that he is liberal. If only I were a year older so I could vote... BTW, power to you Lüt. I'm glad that you're planning to vote for Nader (if you can find a place to vote at). Of course, I know the chances of Nader winning are slim, so if he doesn't win, I hope Gore wins only because I absolutely terrified by the idea of Baby Bush running our country and actually being in charge of stuff. He already runs my state (Texas), and that's bad enough. To reemphasize, VOTE NADER!!! 0 Share this post Link to post
stphrz Posted November 4, 2000 Oh, nothing's wrong with being liberal. I'm not what you would consider conservative myself. My post was opinionated to be sure, but I stand by it. Nader is just too far to the left for me. Way too far. A truly democratic system cannot support his policies. The implementation of his ideas requires a very socialistic form of government that simply cannot exist in the U.S.A. 0 Share this post Link to post
Boingo Posted November 4, 2000 I thought it was the demacrats who used a jackass as their symbol. It doesn't really matter anyway. Both Bush and Gore are losers. Vote for Rodney Dangerfield. 0 Share this post Link to post

I hear only 20% of Americans will vote, the other 80% are too fat to get through the polling booth doors 0 Share this post Link to post
