Odd

Something I've noticed in Doom lately is unnerving. Why is it when you fire off a shot at a demon and the other demons hear you, why do they always know exactly where to find you?
And another thing, in ZDoom, when you look up at the sky, it "warps" or does something weird-it stretches or something.
