bond Posted February 13, 2001 Hi, all Some times ago i made Advanced CsDoom Serverspy - console program for browsing csdoom servers, mainly for Linux, because of it low-information standard serverspy ( http://csdoom.sourceforge.net/aspy.tar.gz ) Now Skulltag team use this poor serverspy in their package (temporarily i hope :), so i modified my program and suggest to use it instead. Asspy shows server ip, hostname, ping, mapname, gamemode and number of players, bots and maxplayers. You can get it here: http://nfdfn.jinr.ru/~bond/csdoom/asspy.zip Enjoy 0 Share this post Link to post
geekmarine Posted February 13, 2001 Hey, nice job. Your program is much better than the original server spy. This could make multiplayer Skulltag easier to do, and thus get more people playing. HAHAHA, LOL that's right, it is ass pie. I think you might want to change the name if you want to avoid further ridicule. 0 Share this post Link to post
Arioch Posted February 13, 2001 In our defense, geekmarine, we knew the sspy.exe program to be a temporary measure as Jeffrey Cuenco finishes up the true launcher program. Anyway, yeah, hopefully this will get more people playing. We still need at least a linux version of the dedicated server, tho. 0 Share this post Link to post
geekmarine Posted February 13, 2001 Sorry, I didn't mean to go Skulltag bashing. I'm aware that the sspy.exe was temporary, it's just that asspy.exe is better until Skulltag gets a real launcher. Now that I read my post, it does sound pretty bad, and I do that from time to time, so again, no offense, and I didn't mean to be a rude jerk or anything like that. 0 Share this post Link to post
