How do i edit .lmp files?

I plan on doing some SNDINFO lump editing, but I don't know which program to use, so which one SHOULD I use?

Hmmm. I think notepad might do the trick. SNDINFO, MAPINFO etc are just text files if I'm not mistaken. I don't believe they have to be compiled or anything like scripts do. You then import them using wintex or deepsea.

you can use notepad or any other text editor to edit lump files... i personally use metapad 2.22 http://welcome.to/metapad/
and.. wintex has a bug in it that leaves the original version intact *with* the new version of the lmp file
