Hey,a little help here.

To oldies or newbies or anyone out there:

I never recorded a demo for Doom and yesterday I was playing Utlimate Doom 95 by itself,without any add on's,just remembering back in the day.

Anyhow,I noticed that you can record a demo and play a demo back.After I select the option for recording and the game starts and than it close's on me.
I try to play it back after and it dosent work.Now what am doing wrong,is there anyone out there can give me tips or advice on how do record a demo.

doom.exe -record demoname.lmp -warp e1l1 -skill 4
doom.exe -playdemo demoname

Don't include the extension when playing a demo, that's backwards from having to include the .wad when you -file. =)

If you're using DOOM95, you're screwed. I had the same problem, so I finally got ZDoom and the v26a launcher for it. That's recording demos with no problems.

Yeah, I have a batch file that does that for me :)
