So does the general public. I fully understand irony, but most people don't. Just trying to look out for the future of Doom, that's all.

If all Doomers are labeled 'disturbed' then Doom will most probably have no future.

Don't bow to them. I hope they do get disturbed. It'll cause them more stress when these types of games just keep coming and coming and coming. The idea would be to try and keep making things seem worse to them until they finally realize that it doesn't make a difference. Then when the next worse thing comes along, the originals won't seem so bad. I see this as being like when Elvis first arrived. You know how people went nuts about him being so bad? Look how pathetic he seems now. Hell, he's even got collectors edition stamps with his face on them. Nobody thinks of him as causing any kind of downfall anymore, especially with people like Marilyn Manson polluting the music industry. Anyways, that's what I see happening to Doom now; hopefully in a few years it'll take the same place in the gaming industry and general public's eye as Elvis did in the music industry. (Not that I like Elvis, but I remember the controversy surrounding him during his career.)
