what editor shuld I use

I have been trying to edit with deu for some time ut I cannot autally make doors or rooms for that matter what the heck should I do?

Go to this website's editing tutorials link on the main page and read the tutorials there. DEU is not an easy editor to use. If you want to edit both DooM 1 and DooM 2 levels, then use DETH instead.
