A question

how do i make to where, in zdoom, make a ceiling lower, then make it spin?

I am assuming you mean spin like a polyobject. Well, if this is what you mean, you can't. Polys are single sided objects. A lowering ceiling would be a double sided object and so couldn't be a poly.
