Please help a newbie :-\

Please help to get started with the all those data thingys. I know level editing, but I can't find any (well, almost) basic info on lumps like mapinfo and behavour, hexen scripting and stuff. The only thing i've found so far is the UDS page, but it's too theoretical :)
More concrete question: what do I edit mapinfo lump with?..

The ZDoom editing docs have explanations for all the ZDoom lumps. Also check the ZDoom Tech page on Randy's site. I have several tutorials on this subject as well.
