Skeletal Animation or....

I think for Doom 3 that ID Software should use Skeletal Animation or go along the same lines as Quake 3 with the 3 different parts of the body but use more parts to get more relistic movements from the models...

I'm sure with Carmacks new engine he'll make the movements as realistic and creative as possible. Both movement styles have their advantages and disadvantages. Possibly a combination of the two would work?
