Guest DOG_MEAT Posted July 18, 2000 I am wishing that DOOM III will include the modem connection option. I know it sounds antiquated, but there was NO DELAY!! Remeber the NO DELAY game play??? It was so long ago, we have all been living with network lag. Granted, network play offers much more diversity and challenges. But I hope that the modem play option will still be available!!! 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest Flamingsnotball Posted July 21, 2000 Is this DWANGO still availible? Where can I find it? Is it still in use? 0 Share this post Link to post
locust Posted July 24, 2000 Just dial one machine into the other and run PPP between them (I doubt Windows is very good at 'picking up' the phone for a PPP connection, but Linux should handle it fine). Then you can play a TCP/IP game modem to modem. 0 Share this post Link to post
