Anyone heard that vinesauce got hacked?

Recommended Posts

Never heard of Vinesauce, then again I never watch YouTube videos except for a select variety.

Maybe it is an intended change? You could perhaps ask.

Legal action is blurred here, either one or both of the channel owner or Alphabet/Google/YouTube can actually do it depending on ther circumstances.

Seeing as Exinthevatican Uncut is completely untouched, Joel will probably just make a new highlight channel and go on like nothing happened.

You would need to hack the e-mail accounts too before one can be thrown out of a youtube account. Google accounts send an e-mail to the "backup" a-mail adress when somebody asks a password reset, or logs in using "weird" browsers which do not fit the users behaviour.

Unless one is absolutely so dumb to not have a backup e-mail adress for "important" google accounts.

So basicly ; either get a better password and a different password on all your accounts, use google its security measures to prevent such ordeals, or stop faking it.

IDGAF.

Does anyone here actually care about Vinesauce? Sounds like a site that nicks other people's crap and makes compilations out of it for their own benefit.

Not at all what they are. They're a group of streamers, the highlight reels are of their own material.

It's a band of Twitch streamers. They tend to make highlight reels of their broadcasts and upload it to their respective channels. They also have separate channels they use to archive the complete streams. They also have an art booru and forum for viewers to submit fan works and develop tools like the Vinesauce ROM Corrupter or the Realtime Corrupter.

The three most popular are Vinny, Joel, and Rev. The first to are musicians and the latter's an artist.

Vinny is the only one that matters, anyhow. He's the one who does those video game corruption videos.
