chungy Posted November 19, 2015 Did you edit your doom2.wad file before? It might be corrupted... Use Hash Calculator and compare your file again the known doom2.wad hashes. If it is corrupted, you'll have to go back to your original media (CD, Steam, GOG.com, etc...) and copy the uncorrupted file back out. 0 Share this post Link to post
Andrea Rovenski Posted November 19, 2015 It would probably be easier to just redownload/install doom2 from where you got it originally (steam, disc, etc) 0 Share this post Link to post
scifista42 Posted November 19, 2015 PISTA0 is a ZDoom-exclusive pistol pickup sprite. It is not in Doom2.wad and not supposed to be there. It is in ZDoom.pk3. 0 Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted November 20, 2015 Just got the exact same error after i updated the GZDoomBuilder copy i've got, so that's the reason . 0 Share this post Link to post
Xaser Posted November 20, 2015 Your wad is fine -- the (GZ)Doom Builder configuration you're using has a reference to a zdoom.pk3 resource. I suspect it's GZDoom Builder since it expects you to load zdoom.pk3 as a resource when using Hexen or UDMF map formats. Might be an editor oversight if you're using a vanilla or Boom config. 0 Share this post Link to post
