PC Doom1 running on a PS2?

Is this a real video? Some kind of software running on a PS2 allows the user to run PC Doom1?

That is years and years old. It's just a port of Doom to the ps2, playably on modded consoles that can launch homebrew.

The port is called PS2Doom if you wanna see vids of it. It's oooold news though.

Seems like more trouble than it's worth.

I've tried that one before, it's just a barebones port of SDL Doom, only worth looking out if you are really curious about it.

Well, the PS2's hardware amply covers the True Holy Doom Minimum Hardware Requirements (32-bit CPU with at least 40-50 MIPS effective, 4 MB of addressable RAM, 20 MB of accessible storage etc.) so it's not surprising that it can run a run-of-the-mill port of Doom.
