Nuks and Crannies, non-linaer vanilla map

I recently made a vanilla map. It's pretty non-linaer. You can even skip the red key. It has a lot of secrets, too.

Why is "nook" spelled with a "u?" This both confuses and infuriates me.

I might add this to my list for my upcoming playtesting stream #7.

^^ Pun. Nook => Nuke (as in nukage).

Can't help but chuckle because "Nuk" is a brand of (and frequent generic term for a) baby pacifier.

Given the spelling of "linaer", I think it's more likely to be just poor spelling.

It's a well put together map, I can say that much, but between the floors that hurt you and the cyberdemon you seem to have to fight while standing on a small ledge..the difficulty curve was in a weird place...I'll give it some more time, but I'd dial some of that back a bit, but that's just me.

I have a personal preference against the 128 unit high rooms...starting out in a somewhat cramped space isn't my ideal circumstance, but that's just preference, not a shot at your design by any means. Your monster traps are well set...you have some good opposition with the chain gun guys you have milling around. It's well decorated.

I'll give it another shot when I'm able to focus a little better.

Updated download on 22.01.16 10.08 GMT. There was a non-functional door previously, though it didn't actually prevent from reaching anything.

Truly, this is quite what I went for! A gray e1m7 in Doom 2.

A failed FDAs, 3 deaths, complevel 2.
Registred for the previous version of the wad, but i think it could work with new version too...

Made another update. There was an obligatory non-obvious route, so now I made a whole new extra route.
