Your Signatures

I am beginning to get a bit fed up of various people's sigs. Two examples out of the mix, I'm not picking on anybody in particular here;

"I am the worst thing ever"
"We're all guna die"

Now this is a request not a threat or anything, so before you all do a Nightmare on me remember this is your choice. I would just like to see some decent content in sigs round here. I know you can choose not to view them but many people do and they should be worthwhile.

Things that are cool include links to projects you're working on, personal sites, funny things. Decent, short jokes. Something clever, but not overboard.

Things that are not cool include links to porn, warez, other thngs you KNOW are naughty, dumb jokes, personal attacks against other members, retarded phrases, arrogant phrases, bullshit. Also, sigs longer than 5 lines (normally IRC quotes) are really un-cool.

Yesterday my old man and I were installing some new ram in my machine and after we snapped it in and hooked the box back up we pressed the power switch and guess what it wouldn't turn on. I'm on the family comp right now, my comp is at my mum's workplace getting checked out by some tech dude but I really couldn't care less, because I actually got to bed at a reasonable hour last night, woke up, and for the first time in like a year I showered, combed, brushed, and shaved all in one morning. I put on a small old fruit of the loom tee and my navy blue cargo pants and I have gotten 0 of my 20 written pages due monday done because I have been checking myself out in the mirror for like an hour.

New sig btw.

Your sig hurts my brain, Bard. The only consolation is the six-page-long nitpick that AndrewB and fodders will put together while I'm not here to see it. :P

I agree more or less, and I'm sure pritch wouldn't force people to do anything just cause their sigs are kind of lame, but it might be hard for some of the users to understand this when many of them have offending titles under their nicks

I finally put a new sig. It's lyrics. Yay. I don't really have any site or projects I'm working onb besides my video game, which I'll probably put up somewhere when it's done.

Eh, JavaGuy, I assume you're trying to be funny... The worst sigs are the long ones and the ones with ugly links. The stupid/lame ones just tell you about the user

they're catching on. lament has one, along with dan, archvile, and bbg used to have one. he no longer has it due mostly because it takes up the space "gatewatcher is god" uses (yes bbg is my bitch, for a few more days anyway).

My quote is lame, not so much the lyrics as the fact I would have them as a sig, yes. But the signature is to show the thought process of it's writer.

People who have links to places others can find programs, info, etc, are often the kind of people who like to help when they can. The poetic ones are for the poetic type of person. The ones with links to their own sites, even if they're not doom related, are the ones who are proud of their work. People who post to stupid sites are the ones that should be shot (J/K).

One's like mine: Usually means something like "The user is a complete idiot." though I like to think of my own as this:
I have this because I accept the beauty of that which is random and chaotic... without order. Therefore when something is thrown at you, you've got to interperet it as you go along, and in such a manner that it will most likely be different from someone else's point of view. Therefore you can take this quote and think of the words in your own manner.

And if you don't like my answer, that's too damn bad.
