kuchitsu Posted March 12, 2016 Ouch. I absolutely love Tarkus and Karn Evil 9 (listened 44 and 27 times according to last.fm). Also From the Beginning because it was in City of Doom. Now I feel like checking out more songs. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tosi Posted March 12, 2016 Welcome back my friend, to the show that never ends... Every time I check this forum there's always another obituary. This time it's somebody whose music I liked, so I'm commenting on it. Rest in piece... 0 Share this post Link to post
vdgg Posted March 12, 2016 Brain Salad Surgery was my favourite. I also was lucky to see them in Katowice personally (album "Live in Poland"). Sad and hard to believe he's gone. 0 Share this post Link to post
SyntherAugustus Posted March 13, 2016 Yikes. I was playing ELP at work that day without even realizing this happened. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bucket Posted March 14, 2016 Keith put a bullet in his head because he was suffering some degenerative nerve issue and couldn't play like he used to. Apparently some recent bad reviews and stressing out about a new tour really got to him. A sad time for music. Some artists, like David Bowie, reinvent themselves. Keith reinvented music itself. Like Chris Squire who died last year, he was a musical pioneer and there are sounds in life we'll never hear again. 0 Share this post Link to post
