Doom 2 lost levels? Or unused maps?

Hi, just out of curiosity, does anyone know of any unused maps for Doom II?
I asked John Romero about it on Twitter, but he didn't respond.

Not sure about unused maps, but the Doom2 beta maps are available on the forum somewhere, but for the life of me I can't remember which thread. I'd love to take a look at those again!

I don't know about WADs but you can see some stages of development here.

There's one full one: a proto-MAP28 that was originally in the MAP22 slot:

Interesting, that TCRF article incorrectly states that all 8 chaingunner rotations did not make it to the final game even though they did. Also, I think the original map rotation was better! City -> Abstract -> Hell seems to be what they were originally going for.

Oh fuck me, I forgot about this dishonest, cringeworthy abomination. I don't know what I was thinking here, I was 14 and for some reason wanted undeserved attention.
