Party Time!

Let's talk political parties and political "standings." What party are you? Can you identify with any existing party?

Or are you like me, who believes the concept of right- and left-wing and "political parties" is utter bullshit?

I don't know anymore...I guess you'd consider me a far leftist, but there are some weird leftists. All I can say is that my favorite party is Green.

So...left wing is liberal, right wing is consevative, and moderate is somewhere in between. But what then does independant mean?

Theoretically I should be Republican because I believe in smaller government, lower taxes, etc. However, Republicans aren't quite fitting that bill anymore. I would be Libertarian but they're a bunch of nutballs.

really I can't identify with any existing politcal party. I just live my life and get pissed at the assholes trying to tell me what to do.

I'm not a fanatic though. You wouldn't see me hanging around with Neonazi's. That's something completely different, but unfortunately, if you say you like rightwing-party's some people think you're a Nazi.

LEFT wants EQUALITY

So liberals aren`t left, they`re just a little more left than the conservatives.

I'm going to register as an independant as soon as I find my &$#@ voter registration form. I swear, the government must have snuck in to my room and stolen it from me because they know the evil things I would to with the power to vote. ^_^

They, the media, tried to backstabb him whenever they had the chance to do it. Political correct Holland is making me sick. Note that Pim Fortuyn, a rightwinger, not an extreme fanatic, was shot 6 times at point blank range by a fanatic leftwinger.

Of course there is only one politician who doesn't annoy me, and that was the former leader of the democrats :D. But as a rule, I hate politicians.

Change the constitution to allow discrimination of immigrants?! Sounds like EXTREME right to me!

Nope. Not a racist. He said that because he thought it was stupid that in some Islamic countries and cultures it is normal to publicly execute your wife because she slept with someone else. Just to give you one of many examples..

Most animal rights activists vote for Leftwing-party's. You know that just as well as I do.

I'm not saying he would've turned Holland in some sort of Garden of Eden. The man simply had some good ideas. Unfortunately someone else disagreed and slaughtered him..

To explain how the media in Holland works I will now give you an example.

Someone says: "I don't like some of the Muslimcountries, because their culture is a backward culture in my eyes.."
The media translates it into something like: "Mr. 'Someone' thinks all Muslimcountries are retarded. Politicians are shocked."

Anyway, there's no point in discussing this, since we would never get along with our ideas.

I'm not 18 so I can't vote, but if I could, I'd vote for the environmental party we have here. Not really because I'm some animal rights activist (I'm not), but rather because they have a sane view on democracy and global development and are determined humanists. They're also on the left, but liberal rather than socialist.

It's time people stopped playing the race card every time something is said someone disagrees with!
Saying Pim was racist because he called Islam/Moslems isn't racist, Islam is a religion not a race!
The same goes for Jews, every time someone does not agree with them killing a 2 year old Palestinian baby etc, they scream "Anti Zionists" purlease, it's "anti-INFANTICIDAL".
