Yea I was in stream attempting to give some advice to him (Pavera was there too doing the same). I've been waiting for him to do this stream ever since he said that he made some Doom maps in the past. It was fun seeing how much enjoyment he was getting from making that map :)

Joel and Doom is an amazing combination.

He should come here and showcase his work, unless he's just doing it because Doom is trending on Youtube..

Might have been inspired by Doom coming out, at least. He's done Doom maps before, sometime in late 2015 (give or take a few months) he showed off an older map of his. As you can probably gather from the stream, it's not something he takes seriously. Seems like he'll make a map once in a great while just for fun, and that's about it.

I always loved this guy's videos (especially the Windows destruction, Facade, and old Atari commercial ones) he's not too shabby with DoomBuilder either!

He should not be showcasing utter crap next to his own WADs.

Showcasing crap is something Joel does a lot. Have you seen any of his bootleg videos or his Windows Destructions?

Speaking of which, I haven't seen the crappy wads video, but did he cover PSX Doom Forever?

I don't think so, most of what he played were shitty jokewads.
