Any way to remove black bars in "cinematic" rendering mode?

I love the colours in this mode but the black bars are eysore. Any way to remove them?

Is there any real difference between the Cinematic and Gritty modes other than the black bars?

Yeah, as PureSlime said, there's pretty much no difference between Gritty and Cinematic besides the black bars. I use Gritty myself, but lower the Gamma value slightly so the game doesn't get overly bright.

Cinematic has more interesting and vivid colour choices. Gritty loses some colour diversity especially in outdoor areas - everything becomes brown hues.

What's the point of It being Cinematic If there Isn't any black bars?
