Bucket Posted June 20, 2016 So my netbook died and I'm looking for another ultra-small, ultra-cheap solution for making music and other things on the go. I intend to install Ubuntu Studio but I'd settle for Windows 10 if it has the space for it. Recommendations? 0 Share this post Link to post
Megalyth Posted June 20, 2016 I thought this thread was going to be about ingestible processors. Too much Goatlord. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted June 21, 2016 I'm imagining sitting at a computer and constantly refreshing a Fedex-like tracking page for the meal you just ate. Complete with social media sharing buttons of course. 0 Share this post Link to post
Aliotroph? Posted June 21, 2016 In my mind the sweet spot for portable computers that actually do anything useful is still occupied by small laptops. I have yet to see a tablet that could both run a platform design for working and run at a reasonable speed. Of course Linux is versatile, but I suspect you have to do some work to get an optimal setup with a slow computer. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bucket Posted June 21, 2016 Let's assume that I'm perfectly capable of doing just that. What tablets/convertibles would you recommend? 0 Share this post Link to post
