Q about keyboard controls

So I downloaded and tried out the demo version which runs fine. Now I just need to know how to use the keyboard to turn on the spot.

I don't think I get your question proper, sorry. What is it about keyboard and turning that you're asking about?

Turning using keyboard is inefficient, use mouse instead.

Mouse is too slow.

The keyboard isn't going to be magically faster. If the mouse is too slow, turn up the sensitivity.

I remember some Third-person Shooters had that "turn 180 degrees by pressing key X", but it is a really uncommon feature.

Duke3D had that. Or was it Dark Forces....anyway, FPS games had it too.

GZDoom has it. You have to bind it in the console, though, because for some reason its not in the controls menu.

to be fair, the default mouse turning speed is atrociously slow. but it's not like it's any hard to jack it up to a comfortable rate.

Go into the mouse settings in options, and pull it up a few notches. I have a gaming mouse and even I had to. 6.5 to 7.5 should be alright.
