do you like my first map?

Too short. But good try for a first.

But Freedoom needs maps in the empty slots, and those slots are in places that require difficult maps.

And it didn't run on PrBoom+ or Choc Doom on my device (it should have)

What format did you make it in? Boom? UDMF?

vanilla but i just updated it to add doors. i used Eureka doom editor

Look at what vesperas said in the Wads and Mods thread you made.

Are you SURE it in vanilla, as in Doom/Doom 2 format?
I never heard of a vanilla map being unable to run in Choc Doom.

Oh guess what, E3M3 is empty. Try to make a Doom format/Boom format map for E3M3.

huh?... its just my version of what freedoom's e1m1 should be. because they have used that one map for about four years now!

I guess that's because it is considered to be a pretty good map...

It's pretty interesting that the churn of existing resources in Freedoom has actually meant new people like Zerthex think that things should change just for the sake of it!

If playing on a port that doesn't allow jumping, it's possible to get stuck behind the pillars in the room with the shotgun.
