Z0k Posted July 14, 2016 im trying to find how in the wiki but only appears as some of the feaures in slade3 (and some results in Realm667 on how to do in XWE). i ripped a lot of textures for a small wad im going to use for mapper blocks when i needed. however i like to keep the textures with the same name for easy location instead going up and down through the textures name. i used to rename them manually from windows archive explorer but since slade have this a feature i wondered how to do it. anyone know how to mass rename textures there? i would appreciate it 0 Share this post Link to post

Z0k Posted July 19, 2016 i just tried to change the name to a lot textures but slade rename all of them with the same name. my textures are named like this HZ (1) to HZ (340) i know this could lead me to error sintax if i code them in animdef like that. So i select all the textures with Control Shift END and Rename. Slade have some notice about: =* remains unchaged so i tried Slade rename them like HZ_ and a number, but its seems dont work because slade rename them all HZ_ is there a way slade could just use HZ_ and then add the number? or its impossible (i start thinking its impossible) 0 Share this post Link to post
baja blast rd. Posted July 19, 2016 Rename only the one-digit numbers, and then do the two-digit numbers, and then the three-digit numbers. You have to settle for HZ__ (two underscores). HZ__*, HZ__**, and HZ__*** should work. 0 Share this post Link to post
