Famous/historical people you'd wanna meet?

Recommended Posts

Assuming we spoke a common language...

Karl Markx, Lenin, Eugene Debs, the people who invented the Novachord, Rosa Luxemburg, Toshiro Mifune, Gerald Gardner, and Doreen Valiente all come to mind.

EDIT: oh, or alive? Well, quickly add Nivek Ogre, cEvin Key, Bill Leeb, and Jennifer Parkin to that list :-P

I wish Bruce Willis came to my home, said "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!" and killed me to death.

Bill Hicks, Frank Zappa, George Carlin and Jimi Hendrix all seemed like awesome, intelligent people who would have been great to talk to, jam with or just even see live.

Oh man, excellent choices! I'd have to add Hicks and Carlin to my choices as well.

Louie C.K. and MC Ride, but they're awkward people so it probably wouldn't be very exciting.
Also Rosa Luxembourg.

Michael Poulsen, Jon Larsen, Rob Caggiano, Kaspar Boye Larsen, Anders Kjølholm, Kanye West, John Romero

I have so many questions I'd like to ask Michael Poulsen, but for one thing I don't wanna annoy him to death and for another I'd probably get really nervous around any of these people.

I don't want to start anything, or digress this thread into a different direction.

This is a legitimate response - Jesus Christ. My world would be changed if I got to see him in person and asked a few questions.

Tony Iommi would be a top pick just because he is my favorite guitarist. Perhaps a group meeting with Tojo, Stalin, Hitler, and FDR just because I think that'd be an interesting conversation to listen to, plus I'd be curious to hear why each party felt they were justified in their actions. My father's father who died before I was born. Myself at 16.

I always wanted to meet George Carlin, but that ship has long sailed.

I've actually met the following:
James Rolfe (AVGN)
Kyle Justin (AVGN theme song guy)
Zack Ward (bully in Christmas Story, Postal Dude, many other roles)
TJ Kirk (the Amazing Atheist)
Scotty Kirk (the above's brother)
Paul's Ego (regular of the Drunken Peasants podcast)

@Feirup- Sex, and being massivly abused at preteen age can cross some wires and make certain people into sadistic sexual preditors, mix that with socio/psychopathy it's easy to understand.

It's not always that simple though

If I had to choose one person, the first in line is Trent Reznor. I'd spend the whole day just asking questions.

This.

Also I think it would be interesting speaking to people such as Hitler and Stalin, for example, and just having a conversation, regardless of topic or how "deep" it would be.

I'd wish to meet George Orwell. I wanted to know how the man made such a book. I'd want to see how he views the world. It would be quite the talk with him, i'm sure.

They weren't famous or historical.

I'd like to meet Tony Sly, a fun-loving punk.
Greg Graffin, a punk teacher with a PhD and an interesting POV.
Milo Aukerman, a punk scientist.
Billie Joe, a punk that quit sellingout.
American McGee, a man with lots of experience with many companies.
Chris Hannah, a punk with lots of interesting POVs about political manners.
Loads of busty pornstars, not to talk to, to fuck.

George Orwell, Trent Reznor and key ID members (Romero, Carmack, American, etc) are all great choices!

They were historical, actually.

The dictionary says:
Historical / Adjective
•Of or concerning history; concerning past events.

•Belonging to the past, not the present.
