Tracer Posted August 13, 2016 When I try to download it from here, it won't download. Does anybody know where I can find another copy that I can download on my phone? 0 Share this post Link to post
BigDickBzzrak Posted August 13, 2016 You didn't think about extracting it from the IWAD and copying it to your phone? 0 Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted August 13, 2016 I am not too tech savvy. How would one do that? 0 Share this post Link to post
scifista42 Posted August 13, 2016 Open Doom2.wad in SLADE3. Right-click the D_OPENIN lump and convert it to MIDI format, then export it into a file. Connect your phone to your computer via Bluetooth or USB or however you can, and copy the file onto the phone. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted August 13, 2016 Thank you, SciFista. However, I did manage to find an easier way. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bloodshedder Posted August 14, 2016 http://www.doomworld.com/music/d_openin.mid doesn't work? 0 Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted August 14, 2016 Nah, it says, "Sorry, the player doesn't support this type of audio file." Doing this on my phone. 0 Share this post Link to post
RightField Posted August 14, 2016 Smartphones don't normally have midi support. Get an app for that or do it on a stationary. 0 Share this post Link to post

Swine & Roses Posted August 14, 2016 Since I got nothing better to do, I made another recording for you. Not sure if you are looking for some particular sound, I use a Yamaha S-YXG50 softsynth. >Download< 0 Share this post Link to post
Voros Posted August 14, 2016 Your phone cant run MIDI, or is the system saying so? What phone is this? Rename the .mid file to .mp3 and see if it works (i did this a few times, for no reason). I know my phone can run .mid files easily. .mod files, not really. 0 Share this post Link to post
joe-ilya Posted August 14, 2016 Google "YouTube to mp3" via phone, open one of the many links, copy a YouTube video containing your picked track, transform it via the site and put the mp3 in your music folder or whatever via a file manager. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted August 15, 2016 Voros: LG G2. My phone can play MIDIs, but for some reason the link that Bloodshedder provided won't let me download or play the file. Joe-ilya: Good idea, thank you. 0 Share this post Link to post
