Wordpress Problem

Recommended Posts

If you paid attention to my signature, you'd know that I have a blog at Wordprss. Problem is, I've encountered one of the most common yet, crippling problems of that site.

Connection Timed out.

Every time I try to access my blog, it gives me the same error message. I can access Wordpress just fine but not my blog. I waited for a few days to see if the problem would go away. It didn't.

I googled for help and was told to edit php.ini but I couldn't find it.

I tried turning off all plugins and then turning them on one by one to see if that had anything to do with it. Nothing

I tried changing Themes to see if that was the issue. The Customizer didn't even load.

I finally tried asking Wordpress forums for help. Nothing.

So now I've come here as a last resort. Can someone please tell me how I can fix this?
And please don't tell me to open a blog elsewhere. That's what I'll do if all else fails. But it's something I want to avoid.

Thank you.

The problem is definitely on your side. I easily visited your blog from my phone. Try any of the following:

-change browser
-clean cache/DNS thing(?)
-try with a different IPS

IPS. Internet Service Provider.

Try a different IPS for your internet connection.

And isn't that just clearing the history?
Try clearing all cookies.

And cleaning/flushing your DNS cache.
1-open "cmd" (its Command Prompt)
2-type in the following

Spoiler

ipconfig /flushdns

You should get the message "?" If it was successful.

I tried that.
I don't think the service provider is the problem 'cause I've had the same service provider for 2 years and this is the first time it's happened

No dice. Didn't work. Cache DNS was cleared successfully. But still can't access it.

See if you can visit your blog from another computer/device.

That might show if the problem is with the computer.

Well... Thanks anyway for your help. I don't have my own income so I don't want to spend the equivalent pricing of the suggested stuff in the link in BDT so those aren't really an option for me.

Do you use Wi-Fi?

Try using your cellular data network on your phone/someone else's phone. See if you can access it from there.

When exactly did the error appeared? What did you do last time in your blog?
