Best Doom 2 Remake(s)

This thread is not about best doom 2 megawads, it's about remakes which retell same story, just in different maps.

Mine's is Doom 2 Reloaded. It's levels aren't gimmicky, while still having classic moments like Map07 and Cyberdemon vs Spider Mastermind battle. Also, earth levels look like actual Earth now.Probably the only downside was map18, because stealth doesn't really work well in Doom.

Doom 2 Reloaded is one of my favorite wads too. Remain1 and Flashback to Hell have nice maps that are direct remakes of maps in the first episode of Doom 2.

You might give Doom Tribute Project a shot. It's a really well done homage to Doom 1 and 2, and I think it may be just the sort of thing you're looking for.

Already did. Nice wad, but one thing I didn't like that there wasn't any mention of Daisy(doomguy's pet rabbit),nor the Thy Flesh Consumed.
