PUNCH

Hi all,

This is a quick call for help! I have a custom FIST actor that I downloaded from a website but it was incomplete and needed some editing.

Anyway, the A_PLAYSOUND is included in the states, so it plays the impact sound effect of a punch even when you just swing at the air!

Is there any way of solving this little annoyance?

Will that work even though I have specified custom SFX for the respective hit and miss sounds, nay the hit sound when I have picked up a berserker power-up?

If you want different behavior depending on whether the player has berserk or not, use a conditional jump into a different attack state where A_CustomPunch has different parameters, as in the bottom-most example on the A_CustomPunch zdoom wiki page.
