Making triggers invisible

Is there a way to make triggers invisible by default? So far I just make doors trigger the "make invisible" tag on the triggers before the player enters the area but doing it this way is annoying.

AFAIK no, you can try using the map object and set it to invisible on map started.

Are these the walk/use triggers? I usually just set the "Show on Start" toggle to "no," I think.

Doesn't that just means the triggers don't work unless turned on later?

No, that's "Start Enabled."

I noticed that, with the default transparent trigger, setting the color to pitch black actually makes it invisible. I mean, show on start probably works too but this is another option.
