How to input sound inbetwen lmaps

i want to play some sound in my wad for sometime......
i don't know what to do.......
i tried ACS commands for ambient sound but it didn't work
plssss help

"Sound inbetween maps"? Do you mean intermission music? If so, define InterMusic in your map's definition in MAPINFO.

NO... its like when i press a switch .... while in a level i want to hear a sound..

Make the switch execute an ACS script, and write this script to execute AmbientSound with first parameter set to the sound's logical name as defined in SNDINFO, and second parameter to 127.
